Most artists, at least those with any kind of real curiosity or ambition, go through an evolutionary process as their careers advance. Embracing his Jazz aspirations, the Japanese artist Hokuto Sato delivers a new EP in our label, shifting the focus away from the technicality. Say “Konichiwa” to “Jazz On The Moon”.

On this EP Hokuto truly hits its best with four tracks that effortlessly drop into the sort of real solid tracks. Songs with irresistible sampled grooves that demonstrate that even when he's following the same trends as his many peers, is a producer with plenty of good ideas.

To close the loop we have a rework from Carlo, who's shrinking the original sample into a wriggling deep loop. This cut defines Carlo style in a varied, exhaustively undiminished 6 minutes.
